Ebay Global Shipping program problems

Hello,

Can someone help me? i'm trying to purchase an item and the seller has registered to the global shipping program , my country is elegible but when i go to checkout it says the seller doesnt ship to my address , i contacted the seller and she said that she does ship to my country, but when i go to checkout it says that she doesnt.... we're both trying to figure out a solution for this problem but no sucess so far... weird thing that when i click on wish list , it shows the shipping price to my country but when i try to purchase it it wont show me the shipping option to pay. Does anyone knwows whats going? and how to fix? i really want a resolution as i want to buy it asap, dont want to miss it 😣

Curious who or how you received the invoice for the purchase. With the GSP the invoice is generally generated and sent to the buyer by the eBay GSP. Once paid the seller then ships the package to the GSP center in Kentucky and the GSP takes care of the customs paperwork and the onward shipping to the buyer. This may be a problem in/with the GSP process rather than the sellers issue. Check with the eBay GSP to see what the problem is.

Because you requested an invoice, the item can no longer be shipped through the Global Shipping Program. 

When a Seller creates an invoice for an item in GSP that has not been paid for by the Buyer, the system cannot retrieve the appropriate International Shipping and Duties and Tax charges because you have not provided a final mile destination address at checkout. This causes the item to be dropped from GSP and the Sellers international shipping options take over. Since this Seller does not ship outside of GSP, your item cannot be shipped or purchased. 

You will need to cancel the transaction, Seller will need to re-list and you will need to purchase again, if the item is available. NO NOT REQUEST an invoice, simply pay and the item will be shipped to you through the GSP program.

The original poster didn’t say anything about requesting an invoice so do you know that they asked for one because you see it when you look at the poster’s transaction?  I’m curious because I’ve seem similar posts recently from gsp buyers not being able to checkout with the gsp even though their country is stated as eligible in the listing.    I don’t recall any of them saying that they asked for an invoice...actually I was under the impression that the request invoice was greyed out for gsp transactions.

We are looking into the issue currently. Requesting an invoice should not "bump" the item out of GSP, producing the invoice will.

 So you are saying that not only can a gsp buyer request an invoice, but the gsp seller is also able to click on 'send invoice' which bumps it out of the gsp.   (I'm sure neither was possible at one time)  Why does a gsp buyer have access to the request total button and why does a seller have access to send invoice if all it is going to do is result in the buyer being unable to pay?

Again, this is not supposed to happen, which is why we are investigating it. We have had more than one notification of this issue.

Hello sorry for the late reply i didnt receive the notification before! we found a solution! finally!!!  without GSP i was able to buy it just fine and she shipping cost was cheaper
