Hi everyone,
I am a buyer, recently placed an international order, and I'm trying to get a better understanding of the shipping process. Since this is my first time using the Ebay International Shipping option.
Specifically, I'm curious about two things:
Any insights or experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
UPDATE :
EIS Hub takes about a few days to process once your item has arrived.
*In my case, is relatively a small electronic item. (Headphone)
*USA(EIS Hub (Glendale Heights)) shipping to Japan.
*tracking number provided, but has not been shipped.

Your eBay ID is from the country Indonesia and you are asking about 'shipping to Japan'.
Is the address to Japan and not Indonesia?
'Estimated delivery date' is usually correct if there is NO 'freight forward' for this item.

Thank you for your insight! Currently I am residing in Japan.
It says arrives Mon, Aug 5 - Wed, Aug 14.
I am just curious, since people have been saying it would take more than 2 weeks to process.

In my experience, items have been shipped within several days of receipt at the hub.
I think it probably depends on how fast the container bound for your country fills up.

That's a new insight, thank you very much!
I will try to post updates regarding my shipment as well, so others (like me) might not have to worry as much too.

No need to worry... Just go by the estimated delivery date.

Thank you for everyone for the insights,
and I hope with this post people shouldn't be worried to much about EIS HUB processing time. 😀

The EIS hub processing time does not matter.

In my experience there is a wide difference in the amount of time shipments take to leave the hub, based on destination country, That is baked into the estimated delivery date.
Babysitting EIS shipments is frustrating since it is not obvious what the destination country is for all shipments, and the length of each step is not consistent.
I strongly recommend you set an alarm for the estimated delivery date and check where it is on that date.

Very true.
Looking at my EIS orders I've had items processed same day to 2 weeks.
Even if the hub processes it quickly it could sit in a container for weeks.
Though I'm glad that this buyers having a good experience.

Must be tough to see no movement for weeks.
Thanks for the insight as well.
My delivery estimation says arrives Mon, Aug 5 - Wed, Aug 14.
Still hoping it will arrive on the early side. 🤞

Generally, 1 day is what I usually see, may be 2 if it gets there late in the day or something. But other than during the pandemic (before EIS), I've never seen anything take 2 weeks.
