Purchased an item on 5th January 2019.Opened a case for non delivery on14th February 2019. Got an assurance that ebay would make a determination by 21st February. Still waiting for a determination on 27th February 2019.Still no delivery after seven weeks. Do you think it reasonable that ebay should stuff me around for so. Waiting for seven weeks for an item is not much fun. Get your act together ebay and give me my money back.

Assuming that you opened the case once it was past the last estimated delivery date, you should be able to call Ebay customer service and have them close the case. I've had them close it while I was on the phone before (when seller ignored the case & didn't refund), so definitely worth another call based on the info you've provided, since the wait time has passed. Your case may just have fallen through the cracks (it happens) and they need reminded to close it. Hope it all works out for you.

You started an Item Not Received request on 2019 Feb 14 @apat09 but you needed to go back to click Ask eBay to step in on 2019 Feb 21.
Otherwise nothing is not going to never happen, and your refund will expire.
