EBAY IS GIVING AWAY MY MERCHANDISE AND REFUNDING BECAUSE OF SLOW MAIL!

I sell vintage Barbies and her clothes, but eBay is giving my things away and making me refund money because of things not being delivered. 

Finland has held up mail, my customer didn't get her item. She makes a case it's been almost two weeks- eBay forces the refund and she'll get to keep my item. 

I have another customer open a case because it's been a week....I'm being threatened by ebay about refunding and "take care of your customer"! The vintage outfit is over 100.00, she'll get to keep her money AND my item!

I have come to despise eBay, they don't protect selkers at all. I recently had someone buy an expensive outfit, they switched the mint dress to a piece of sh*t, kept the expensive gloves and eBay PAID him My money to screw me over. I appealed, nothing, I'm screwed.

Thank you so much! I contacted the postmaster after waiting 4 HOURS, he says I'm not protected by regular international mail, even though it's stuck in their Miami hub! I said the tracking number should work to track it in Miami, no. The tracking for it means nothing. Because it was going to be out of the country, tracking is no good. I'm screwed. No more global shipping for me.

Right on! I got it escalated for them to tell me they aren't changing their minds.
EBay does not care about the sellers, that's clear as day to me. And I despise them for it.

Everything was going fine, even with their "pandemic". I found out the hard way, won't be shipping globally until everything is what the powers that be give us what they consider normal. Maybe never.

I absolutely agree! But, even in the states they don't protect us. I recently sold a very expensive outfit to a guy here in Florida. He switched my mint dress for a piece of junk, kept the expensive gloves and eBay still refunded him. I appealed, same thing, he wins. I lost a small fortune.
I will be taking a trip to where he lives soon, I'd love to visit him!

Your advice was awesome! I kept common location open, my wonderful buyer patiently waited and it finally arrived after weeks! I sent her a gift package to make up for it, it got there before the original item! The international ones I have to take a loss.
I have many great return buyers, I'm so thankful for them, they'll wait till the cows come home.
No more global shipping for me right now. Unfortunately I do very well selling globally. Hopefully we'll see things straighten out soon. I won't hold my breath, though.
I appreciate everyone who offered advice, you guys are the best. You all should be running eBay instead of what we have now.
HERE is where I get help and understanding, i appreciate that more than words can say.

I am sorry eBay has enacted this unfair policy with no thought 2 the cost 2 its sellers I have become aware of in recent weeks it is sad and so unfair 2 honest sellers trying 2 run a business

Hopefully, you have turned him in to the Postal Inspectors for investigation for mail fraud.  While it probably won't get your money back there is a chance that if he has done it before he may be on their radar.

I've had better luck with domestic shipping, so far.

One thing is certain: if your package goes to the Miami hub, you may as well forget it. I have three stuck there, hours on the phone waiting for help from the Postmaster resulted in absolutely nothing. And don't dare sigh or show ANY kind of aggravation with them, you'll get hung up on and wait all over again. They are no longer public servants, but they are driving the bus now. You either fall in line with a smile, or you don't get to hear them say you're out of luck.

We are being positioned and programmed to take our lumps and shut up.

Sigh.

Well, i did, and lost. EBay didn't have the decency to let me show them pics of what he sent me back.

I ended up sending him a message telling him he was "a thief and would reap what he sowed"- I got an email from eBay threatening me with suspension- they called what I said "profanity"!

Whoever said crime doesn't pay is full of **bleep**, it pays them very well on eBay. 

I'm furious, with a loss of over $100. I should be able to say a real curseword.

I had the same thing happen to me.  This is really discouraging!  The buyer even sent me an email saying they liked my product but one of them wasn't as strong smelling as the other two, yet Ebay gave them a full refund!

This is **bleep**!
