Do you delivery here?

I live in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Do you delivery here? If you do, then do I have to pay any additional charges like vat or tax, or I have to pay the listed price only? Can anybody pay on delivery?

Re: Do you delivery here?

There is no Pay on Delivery on eBay.com. Each seller determines what countries they will ship to, check the listing that you're interested in to see if they ship to your country. On eBay.com you are typically responsible for any customs fees or taxes. You will pay the listed price unless the seller allows offers and accepts your offer.

Re: Do you delivery here?

Each seller has a different policy for where they ship to. On the product's listing, underneath the price, you'll see a section that refers to Shipping. It should say if the seller ships worldwide or not.

Everything has to be paid for when you order it. There's no pay-on-delivery.

There is no VAT in the United States, so, if it's a US seller, there is no VAT. But, depending upon what state the seller is in, there could be sales tax. I honestly don't know if sales tax is being charged for international buyers. Generally you are required to pay any customs or duty taxes that your country requires when you receive the package, but ebay's Global Shipping Program charges you those fees at the time you pay so you shouldn't have to pay in your country when the package arrives. So the answer to the tax question is complicated.

You originally registered in the US, do you have a delivery address here that you could use and have a friend ship to you?

Re: Do you delivery here?

Each listing on eBay will tell you if item can be shipped to Bangladesh.

On the listing click on Tab "Postage & Payment"  Change country to Bangladesh and click on Get rates.

This will tell you whether seller ships to your country and what charges will be applied in addition to item price on listing.

Seller does not know each country's laws/ taxes that are applied on their citizens.

Re: Payment

No you can not pay on delivery.

Payment must be made/ completed before seller ships the item.

Re: Do you delivery here?

Hi @syedhrah-0 ,

One suggestion for you is to google Freight Forwarding companies in the United States and then contract with one that ships to your country.  That will allow you to use their US address for your eBay account so you can purchase items here.  Sellers will ship to your Freight Forwarding company and then you  pay to have your items shipped to your country.

Re: Do you delivery here?

You can check on every listing whether the seller will have delivery option to your country or not. If not, you can ask them about the reason why or offer them to do the shipping.

A seller can ship, or not ship, wherever they choose. They don't have to tell buyers why, and buyers should respect that. or offer them to do the shipping.  No seller in their right mind will allow a buyer to pay for their own shipping. That's an excellent way for the seller to lose both the item they sold and the money that was paid for said item.

Re: Do you delivery here?

Sellers will not allow buyers to arrange the shipping.  The only possible exceptions would be if  the item was listed as local pickup only and you arranged and paid for freight. But payment would be required in advance and the deal is done upon pickup.

Sellers do not have to explain why they don't ship internationally, but it's possible they might if asked.  Many sellers don't ship internationally as they don't want to take the risks associated and it's quite expensive.   US Sellers don't have any postal subsidies other than a commercial rate for purchasing shipping labels online. However, many sellers do use eBay's Global Shipping program of which Bangladesh is included.  However eBay collects all the international fees upfront at the time of purchase.

Most buyers choose by lowest total price and the international shipping expense often exceeds the value of the item.

Re: Do you delivery here?

Ebay is not a store, you are not buying from them. Each seller is independent, just using the eBay selling platform. You are not sending a message to eBay. The people volunteer their time to answer questions, we are buyers and sellers.
