Just received this message from my international shipper:
Dear customer,
We hope you are doing well. With this newsletter we would like to inform you about the incident caused by Crowdstrike.
Due to the worldwide IT issue that impacted multiple systems across many business sectors, some of the systems were also impacted.
Our IT Teams have been working hard during the day on finding a solution. With implemented workarounds we have been able to bypass the issue and restore services already early during the day.
Because of this we have been able to process and send out all items today without any delays.
Additional we are happy to inform you that the main incident is now solved on our side, however there is some remediation work which still has to be done to get us back up to full speed.
Nevertheless, as you might have seen across the news channels, multiple airlines globally are affected. Therefore we advise you to expect delays.
Given the situation, we are unable to confirm the extent to these delays at this time.
An identical message from another Dutch postal service is in my mailbox.
What will eBay do to protect sellers that are affected by late delivery windows?

I haven't seen any other mention of it anywhere on eBay so my guess is that nothing will be done, unfortunately. I know it affected us on Friday, but everything was back to normal on Saturday.

I made a purchase from UK to be shipped to Dallas. Item made it to hub in UK very fast, since then been sitting somewhere for 6 days now. Tracking shows no updates for 6 days, just says check back for shipping updates.
Not sure if this is the issue but its frustrating just the same. Seller did his job but unfortunately, if item doesn't come on time with no meaningful communication I will obviously need to proceed.

To be fair, the seller did his job. You're the one watching the tracking number, not them. If you have concerns then reach out to the seller.
