When I use sell similar and use another auction’s template, invariably there is a default dimension of 25.” I understand USPS has an additional surcharge for this. These are for t shirts and sweatshirts, not big electronics. It is frustrating when I forget to change the dimensions as I blithely enter 10 ounces for a t-shirt and buyers see an inflated shipping cost on top of the already exorbitant USPS prices. Ebay just suggests I forgo using a template and evidently speaking to tech is not a possibility. Any suggestions? TIA

Yes, I suggest you carefully review your listings before you press SUBMIT.

Suggestions? Each listing should (at minimum) be checked before listing.
If you are using a 'template', then something is awry....that should not be changing
With "Sell Similar", lots of things seem to happen, but I have never seen the dimensions pre-populated....sorry

Make your own template. Don't glom off someone else.

Well, yes, I obviously should double check before I submit. If eBay offers a sell similar button, they clearly don’t consider it some kind of theft. I don’t understand why eBay would have a default dimension that there is a surcharge for (25”) unless they are dong so to make additional profit. Honestly, I don’t understand why there are ANY suggested dimensions or weights, since it is all custom- these suggestions have probably confused many a novice seller. I know what to do to avoid it; I guess having its presence explained is not something eBay is interested in doing.
