Counterfeit Item purchased and out of return window

Hi all,

I purchased a counterfeit item on ebay without realizing.  Due to covid, there was a delay in me taking the item to the store to confirm its authenticity.  The item is not authetic and now the item is out of the return window. The seller will not respond. I have called ebay and its an answering machine. What else can I do?
