The Item I bought was removed the next day and so the only logical thing I could think to do was to request a refund. There’s no other way to communicate to the seller since the item no longer exists. We worked out the issue and I closed the case with the expectation that my item would still be shipped to me but before closing the case, she said that she couldn’t print the label and that the refund was already issued. I didn’t receive a refund for the item so my question is, will the label now be able to be printed and my item will be shipped since I closed the case? I think it’s rather dumb that you wouldn’t be able to reopen a case if you don’t receive the item or the refund and even more so that there’s no way to communicate with the seller to follow up about the label. Needless to say this will be the last time buying anything through eBay. Thanks I’m advance to anyone who can help.

NOPE. The seller lied. You can print a label or refund with a case open. Closing the case only lets the seller off the hook . Ebay looks at a closed case as the problem has been solved.
Go to the PayPal payment and open a case. DO NOT close the case until you have the item IN HAND or a CLEAR (not pending) refund. DO NOT fall for them stating that they can't with the case open.

Sorry let me clarify that question - how should go about opening another case? The only other option now is to request a return and it’s impossible since I never received the item. I’m also unable to communicate with the seller via message because the original item was taken down and there’s no item number for it to associate a message to seller with. Thanks in advance. PS I accidentally clicked my own reply as a solution and it surely is not one.

But this does not mean you're actually returning an item: Starting a return request for Missing parts or pieces just gives your missing seller the opportunity to click Refund, no return needed.
Otherwise, you can move on up to open a PayPal dispute for Item Not Received. Go back and click Escalate to PayPal immediately, then wait for your refund.
