Closed Return for Item Shipped but not yet delivered?

I chose to return an item that had been shipped but not yet delivered. It said that I had to pack it back as if I had delivered it.  However, it wasn't even delivered yet. It said in order to get a refund I had to return it by December 31. The problem is the estimated date of arrival was in January. So, I changed my mind and wanted it again. I clicked "Close Return." However, closed return is apparently not what I thought. Will I still get the item? Will I get a refund? Or have I just wasted about $150!?

If it has not been delivered yet then you should not have opened a return request.What does the tracking say?

I didn’t realize it was possible to open and close a request before an item arrives but if the item is on the way to you and you still want it, you don’t need to do anything. When you closed the return you essentially notified the seller that you no longer expect to be refunded for the item.
