Cannot be exported. How do I get my package back?

I sent the package to eBay International Shipping hub. Ebay said the order cannot be filled and canceled the shipment. The tracking shows it's still at eBay International Shipping hub. I contacted Ebay to have the package returned to me.  The package contained vintage electronics that are not replaceable. They were unwilling to help and told me I got to keep the payment. I don't want a refund I want my package back.  I will pay for return shipping. Please help!

Thanks

You are stating that "The same thing just happened to me."  If an item cannot be exported, then an item cannot be exported.

Was your situation/reason different?

I am sure that there are quite a few items that GSP and now EIS refuse to export that are actually allowed in the buyers country.  I think that they use very broad terms when looking at restrictions and tend to refuse to ship some items ‘just in case’.

I know that I’ve seen some items that are legal to ship to Canada that have been refused and there jave  also been items commonly shipped by usps that are refused by the EIS.  That in itself doesn’t mean the items are allowed but in many cases I do think if the seller got the item back they would be able to ship directly (legally) without a problem.

You sold an item and got paid. Isn't that what you wanted?

If the item went to the buyer, you'd have the money and not the item.

Now, even though the item isn't being forwarded to the buyer, you still have the money.

Why would you want the item back?
