Trying to print a return shipping label and can't. Printer prints anything else fine but the Ebay label just comes out blank. Tried multiple times. This is supposed to be a free return label. I had to cancel the return for now. Any suggestions??

You shouldn't have cancelled the return shipping label. Make sure you download and install the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. You should then be able to view and print out a return shipping label, using the Adobe Reader instead of your browser's reader.

Yes I could save an image to PDF and print from it but their is no image to view; just a print button. There wasn't any option for PDF that I saw or anywhere to "right click" and save an image. The printer just spits out a blank after trying to print. Again no problem with the printer itself. It prints anything else just fine. I have seen old posts of this but no resolution.

If you canceled the return, you won't be able to start a new one on Ebay.
You can open a return on Pay Pal, if that's how you paid.

Well that REALLY sucks!! I was hoping to try again on Monday. I didn't see anything about that on the return page. A main reason I ordered from the seller was free shipping and returns. It will probably be close to $20.00 to ship it back. I did pay with PayPal but I don't think they have anything to do with the shipping end of all this?

Was this a free return label @stuckinch as in
- you automatically got it A FEW SECONDS after you started the return request, or
- you had to wait for your seller to accept the return and upload the return label?

Automatically got it A FEW SECONDS. When you click on the return item button it takes you to a page telling you the return is free and the print button is there. You can reprint it but to no avail.

Have u contacted the seller?
They can create a shipping label for you and email its image as a screenshot and then you can print it from there.
Also, did you try opening the return request from your private email address you have on file with ebay? Maybe the image will show from there.

I just sent a message to the seller through the Ebay process. I don't understand the "private email address". I have only one email registered with Ebay. An internet search shows the printing of return labels is a problem dating back to at least 2012. The specific problem I had and others. Wish I had known earlier.....

When you create an ebay account, they ask you for a registered email address, your personal email account. They send messages to you there, including purchases you've made, items you've sold, cases opened, etc.

Just checked my account info again. I've been a member since 2004 . Lots of purchases . Only one email address with Ebay. Perhaps they now ask for two?

whatever the email address is you have on file with ebay, open that email account, ie yahoo, gmail, etc. and look for the return request case message that was sent to you from ebay.

Yes I have tried all methods but as @kensgiftshop wrote above once I cancelled the return Ebay closes the case and does not allow you to start the process over. At least directly through them. This should be stated somewhere but it is not. I'll return them one way or the other. Waiting to hear back from the seller which has excellent ratings. Should have paid a little more and just used Amazon. Their system has always been flawless for me.
