I issued a partial refund to someone who was emailing me repeatedly saying where is my money? send my money now o I will ask ebay for a full refund. I went into my pay pal and issued a refund of $75 as agreed. After the refund was issued the buyer then request a return though Ebay. I posted in the retun that I had agreed to and processed a partial refund of $75 . When I went into my paypal the customer had been refunded $75 twice for $150 .
Nobody at ebay or paypal could tell me why or how and was told it was my fault and I was forced to eat the loss.
When a customer demands a partial refund be sure to come to an agreement then tell them to process the return my settings were set so Ebay would automatically return the money so the customer duped me into refunding him twice. A rookie mistake that wont happen again but everyone should know because ebay and paypal cant seem to figure out how this happens they blame you for refreshing you page during the refund.
