I recently sold an iPhone X to a buyer, who just sent a request for a return. The buyer has had the phone for over a week and claimed to have used it during this week, but claims that the phone screen suddenly went black and isn't working anymore.
The phone was is functioning condition before I sold it, before I shipped it and and when it arrived to the buyer, proven by the fact that he used it for over a week. But, because it did stop working, I'm conflicted on if I am obligated to accept his return.
I have no clue why or how the phone screen went black. In my eyes, I believe it could have been a result of the way that he handled the phone during the time that he had it. There are many ways a phone screen can be damaged by the way a user uses his phone, so I wouldn't be surprised if this is the case here.
Am I obligated to accept the return? Please help and provide some feedback on the situation.

Yes you are, and to provide a shipping label to return the phone. If he files a snad case, you will lose..and if you ignore it, you will get a serious defect and probably a neg feedback.

Sounds like a scammer. That's a load of **bleep**... Of course Ebay never protects sellers against these cases
