Buyer doesn’t want signature confirmation.

I sold a item for $1300 and usually ship with a signature required. The buyer said last time he had issues with signature confirmation and suggested usps blue express. (Not even sure what that is) anybody have thoughts on how to proceed?

Re: Buyer doesn’t want signature confirmation.

If I wanted to get paid, I would ALWAYS follow eBay policy on signature confirmation for high valued items.

Re: Buyer doesn’t want signature confirmation.

The only issue they could have with it is that they might not be at the location when a delivery is attempted.  Or...they want to scam you out of the item.  Use signature confirmation.  Don't listen to them.

I've never heard of it, and neither has Google. Stick with regular Signature Confirmation. If the buyer balks, ask them if they'd rather cancel the transaction.

Re: Buyer doesn’t want signature confirmation.

Is it possible they may be confusing a service with a t-shirt?

Re: Buyer doesn’t want signature confirmation.

there are a number of post here at the forum on blue care express and folks dont seem happy about it

my advice is to never let yourself be induced to use any shipping you are not familiar with

stay in your own comfort zone and that includes a signature

Tough patooties for the buyer. You might explain (politely) that Signature Confirmation at that price is required by eBay and is not negotiable. Yes, the SC is for seller protection rather than buyer protection, but no need to dwell on that detail.

Just tell him that you're sorry but you cannot lift the SC requirement as it's eBay's rule. If he's still pushing back after receiving your reply then just offer to cancel instead. Giving up your seller protection is not an option that will benefit you.

Re: Buyer doesn’t want signature confirmation.

There is no way I would ship without a signature requirement.   I can't imagine what kind of issue they are referring to.
