Bulk Shipping Labels Page should default to an Economy Service Not Expedited! (I only offer Economy)

For some time now I've only been offering FREE ECONOMY SHIPPING on my listings.  Lately when I go to print my ECONOMY SHIPPING labels for the 15.9 ounce package or less, the Bulk Shipping Labels page should default to ECONOMY SHIPPING service such as USPS Ground Advantage, but instead it defaults to the EXPEDITED SHIPPING Service Priority Mail.

 • I know I can choose the correct service before printing instead (if I remember to check each time), but is there a way to make the Bulk Shipping Labels page default to the same as on the listing, ECONOMY SHIPPING instead EXPEDITED SHIPPING?

 • Also I use the 4x6 Zebra Thermal Labels, but this last time it changed to 8.5x11. I know I can choose the correct label instead (if I remember to check every time), but is there a way to keep the 4x6 Zebra as default settings Bulk Shipping Labels page?

A lot of sellers have reported that their label size settings on bulk labels reverted recently. If you switch back to 4x6 it should stick go forward. Let us know if that's not the case.

eBay categorizes Ground Advantage as "Standard" shipping, not "Economy," which might be why the shipping label is confused.  Before the merger last July, Parcel Select was considered "Economy" and First Class package was "Standard."  The only USPS service which eBay now categorizes as "Economy" is Media Mail.

If you're using Ground Advantage, you might want to revise your listings to offer free Standard shipping rather than Economy.  This will be more appealing to potential buyers and might even get you an accurate label page.

That really doesn't make sense that eBay would categorize "Economy" as Media Mail. Media Mail also known as Book Rate  is only good for media related items like books, etc.  I'll try the standard option maybe, but I like to have my buyers receive their goods before the projected date to make them even more happier with their purchases 😎

It's the other way around: eBay invented categories that they call expedited, standard, and economy, and then eBay assigns each actual specific service to one of those categories, based primarily on estimated shipping time. So currently only Media Mail fits into the slowest category.

Parcel Select Ground used to be categorized as Economy, but last July when it was merged into the service now known as Ground Advantage, eBay rethought the delivery times, and reassigned it to Standard.
