Pretty much the title. I bought an item on the 10th and was given a tracking number that night. I kept running the number over the next few days but the item never showed it was picked up by Fedex at its point of origin in California. I contacted the seller after a few days and was given a second number, this time from New Jersey, and I'm getting the same thing, the item hasn't been recieved by USPS. Also, the tracking number isn't in the standard USPS format. I'm getting concerned I'm getting scammed and want to let someone know before I run out of time to get my money back.

eBay's buyer protection policy is known as their "Money back guarantee" (MBG):
You can file a claim for 'Item not received" for 30 days starting on the day after the latest estimated delivery date. If the seller cannot provide a tracking number that shows delivery, you will get a full refund.
