I should have checked the reviews. I purchased two axles and I only received one. Seller just wasted my time emailing back and forth and not sending me the other axle nor honor anything and give me a refund. I opened a case with EBAY and it didn't help, they closed the case right away and I cannot appeal. Final decision they said in spite of them "reading" my messages from seller. If a seller has more that 5 negavite reviews I WILL NOT BUY. This seller had 80!!!! I should have checked nor I'm out of 45 bucks and out of a car part I really needed. BEWARE

Its just about impossible for a buyer to lose a case, what kind of a case did you open? it should have been a 'not as described' case. did you let the case time out without escalating it? Or did you open it after the thirty day mbg expired? You can always open a case at Paypal, you have 180 days there.

just be aware if you do open a case at PP, you are responsible for the shipping fee to return that part to the seller.Had you opened the case within the thirty day limit at Ebay, they would have forced the seller to pay for the return of that part.

The Rules are much different on ebaymotors and buyers don't get easy snad disputes on that site ,As they do here .

I did veiw your sellers feedback and 98 Negatives and 59 Neutrals doesn't make him bad . However looks like he some issues filling orders based on some of the other feedback . That seller maybe drop shipping . which would make since since amount of stuff he has up for sale. I say give paypal a call and file INR do to one missing item .

I respectfully disagree with you on that.

Yes, always vet the seller and the listing. Read the feedback comments; that is what they are there for. You could have avoided this whole thing if you had.
So while I am sorry this happened to you, you need to know to protect yourself.
It sounds like you opened the wrong case, item not received. You received SOMETHING so if seller had tracking showing delivery, they won.
You should have opened an item not as described case.
You can file with PP, but if seller requires return, you will be paying to return it.
Your last resort if your credit card company if you paid that way.
Please do familiarize yourself with how Buyer Protection works here and what cases are appropriate for what situations. There is great Buyer Protection here, but you need to know how it works, which is simple, to use it properly and to get the benefit of it.

Dear J,
I am an e-bay seller, that is very unusual for 99.9 of the time ebay sides with the buyer. You should always ck the feedback, I have been buying on ebay for over 12yrs and yes, I buy car parts also. I have never been robbed. Sorry this happened to you but speaking for myself and most e-bayers. We are honest hard working Amercans who love selling and most of the time make pennies on the dollar after all the ebay fees. Most of us are only trying to put food on the table so don't give up on e-bay.
Jo

If you enroll in PayPal’s return shipping program then they will reimburse up to $30 of your return shipping costs.

No the rules aren’t different. The listings are covered by the MBG. There’s no separate set of rules.

" I say give paypal a call and file INR do to one missing item ."
Bad advice, the op's complaint is a snad..not an inr. He purchased two items, didnt receive one, so that is a 'not as described' case. And Jen_ is correct, unless the item in Ebay Motors specifies that it is not covered by the Ebay mbg, parts in Ebay Motors are covered by the mbg for snad and inr.

Bonjo you are correct ,I was not sure if snad would hold up with one missing item . Yes the buyer need's to do a snad.
