Anyone use Parcel Monkey?

I've got a piece of moulding that can't go USPS International because of the length.  UPS, DHL, and FedEX all want way more than is worth it to ship this to Australia.

I found Parcel Monkey, and one of the options is Express Mail Service or EMS.  The actual shipping is done by Global eParcel Solutions.  I'm guessing they're  a freight forwarder as the shipping address is in Illinois.  Needless to say I'm a little wary (not the least reason is that they might charge my customer and hold the package hostage) but really the only other option at this point is to cancel and refund.

Anyone have any experience with something like this?

Don't sellers in Japan use EMS quite a bit?

Unfortunately even in this supposed "global economy" we sometimes just can't get what we want from point A to B.

Surprised no one seems to have used them here. They are charging me 50% less than the big names to ship a 40 pound box from east coast to west coast (USA). That is a huge savings! I haven't pulled the plug to do it as their online reviews are terrible . Most reviews seem to fall into two categories:

1) Lost packages ( not Parcel monkeys fault )

2) Extra charges

Extra charges can certainly happen if the weight or size is incorrect to what you paid for.
