Got another return today...average return is probably one every two weeks.
Is anyone else getting as many returns like this?
Buyers never get back to me...usually.
I did get one buyer contact me that he is "not deceased" last week. And purchased more so postage wouldn't cost me. That was nice. Hoping it doesn't get returned again.

That is a lot- but my guess is nobody under 60 'collects' stamps. They collect gold, stocks, Pokemon cards etc.
So, these 'people' have moved to a 'smaller place' 'retirement home' etc. and didn't change their address on ebay, and the 'forwarding' typically only lasts 6 months (more if you pay, nobody does).
or...they died- as in the 'deceased' case.

I haven’t had an eBay purchase returned for bad address in about ten years.

I feel bad because it's a profit for me. Sellers usually never ask for their item to get re-mailed.

when I get an item returned as undeliverable.............. I message the buyer and refund.
Your "business model" may vary.

If it's a "no longer a registered eBay user"...the buyer will not get the refund.

Your welcome.
I do my best and never leave negative feedbacks. Only because other buyers and sellers can read them.

I've had exactly one ever and the buyer apologized profusely and paid for me to reship it to the correct address.

Over the years of selling on Ebay, I have had a handfull of returns because of bad addresses. Sometimes the bad address is good, and the post office has always shipped again at no cost, after they verified that the address was in fact good. Sometimes the address would be missing an apartment number, and since I monitor my packages delivery, I have been able to call the delivering post office and have them hold for the buyer. Other times that packages when returned with bad addresses the buyers have usually just paid for reshipping. If they did not want to do this, I would just refund, minus the original shipping.
