I keep forgetting to ask but since eBay no longer pays us with PayPal I now have to copy the shipping address from the sales record instead of the PayPal payment like I used to and it always copies on a single line and I have to break it back up manually.
For example after copying the address from eBay it will paste into Stamps.com as:
John Doe123 Main StDallas TX 12345
Is there a way to fix this as it requires extra time for every order and adds the risk of mistakes.
I know there's a way for addresses to be transferred automatically somehow but I like the manual method.
Thank you

Why are you giving yourself more work?
You can print a label from eBay. No copying and pasting.
If I recall Stamps charges a monthly fee. Printing a label through eBay does not. The charge for labels goes straight to USPS , UPS or FEdEx.

Is there a way to link your Stamps account with eBay? From what I've read it is possible to link ebay and Pirateship so it may be possible with Stamps. I'm sure that it was possible in the past.

@ccrrefills, you can integrate your eBay account with your stamps.com account and it will automatically pull your eBay sales into your stamps.com orders page where you can purchase labels with buyer address pre-filled. In addition, the tracking will automatically populate to the eBay transaction so it doesn't have to be manually entered.

How do you do that and does it require any special plug ins or software? I think websites require a plug in sort of thing to be able to access label printers.
Also, I'm in Canada but use a company that takes my packages over the US border and then ships the with USPS, will eBay's shipping work this this? The main issue is that packages get to USPS 2-3 business days after I actually shipped.

I just tried the print shipping label button on eBay and it says my ship from address must be in the US.
Can I enter the shipping company's US address and would I be violating any rules?

@sin-n-dex uses Chit Chats for her shipments from Canada to the US. I'm not sure where she purchases her USPS shipping labels, but I would assume a third party like Shippo or Stamps.com - she can probably fill you in on that if she's around.

Ok I’m in the US I didn’t realize your in Canada. Are you logged in eBay.ca when you try to print or eBay.com? Because your posting in eBay.com if that makes a difference.

Chit Chats (the shipping company) has an address in the US which people can use. You must use a US return address to get your package back when purchasing US postage. I can purchase postage from stamps.com, or from Chit Chats website, however I actually purchase it on eBay using Chit Chat's Niagara Falls NY address. This is not against the rules as the packages are being mailed from Niagara Falls NY. Buying postage on eBay is cheapest, second cheapest is stamps.com. Most expensive is on Chit Chats website, they charge around 50-70% markup on what postage costs on eBay or stamps.com.

If you're using Chit Chats, you're in the same boat as me. I've figured out when my packages will arrive in New York and date my labels for then. I read your other question about using the shipping company's address as a return address, as far as I know you're supposed to do this with your USA shipments.
I've added a comment to my listing to explain the shipping and tell anyone who's upset that their items are shipped and will show tracking in a couple of days. So far it's infrequent that someone would be upset, nothing I sell is considered essential.

Thanks, C!
For what it's worth: First Class shipments will cost the same on both eBay and stamps.com. You will see price variances for Priority Mail between the 2 postage providers, especially if one has Top Rated Seller status.

OP is shipping with USPS. They won't be able to do that from the .ca site. As I posted in the other message that they can use their shipping company's return address (if the company permits it) as their return address on eBay to print postage. I print my postage for USPS on eBay.com.

Hi, thanks for the info.
Does eBay let you print untracked First class shipping labels? My items are light and low value so adding tracking about quadruples the shipping cost which isn't worth it.
Also, does eBay have an issue if you mark an item shipped but tracking only updates a few days later?
Thank you

You can’t print usps non tracked labels on eBay.
If you mark it shipped and it is scanned as accepted within your handling time OR scanned as delivered by the estimated delivery date, it is not considered late so ebay does not penalize you.
