ZIP code is no longer modifiable on the shipping label purchase page. I've changed addresses many times per buyer request, as well as made return shipping labels, but today it isn't working. Is this problem specific to me or are other sellers having the same issue?

I had a slightly different experience, but the same end result. I changed the address and city, but could not change the ZIP code. I then noticed that in the middle of the Ship Your Order screen was a prompt, saying that the old ZIP code appeared to be wrong, with a suggestion that eBay change it to the correct ZIP code. I clicked on Yes and the ZIP code was changed by eBay, to the proper ZIP code. All of this was BEFORE I clicked the blue Purchase Shipping Label button. Looks like they've tweaked the screen a little.

As usual on Ebay it's Revenge of the Nerds. Technicians make changes without regard to how much difficulty it causes with, you know, the actual purpose of their platform: buying and selling.
Yes, people make mistakes all the time. They put in addresses, move, forget to change them, then when they make a semi-occasional Ebay purchase, oops now it's the wrong address. And let's be honest. If you make people cancel and re-buy, you might eliminate 1 in 1000 scammers, but you'll eliminate 9 in 10 sales, because you're making a customer jump through a hoop.

lol, you started quit the convo
anyway, the zip not being able to be adjusted has been in place for a while now, maybe a year roughly
you don't know it until you try it and actually go to buy the label and it kicks you back with a red error message.
so if shipping usps you can purchase it on the usps website and get the same discount.
I have my own accounts on all 3 major carriers, So doing it from any of them directly is easy enough but a individual would need to go a external shipping source to bypass the address change.
In any case you can then come back and enter the tracking number, tracking of course does not then protect you but it does show you shipped it and you don't get dinged in metrics
also you are limited to 5 labels per order, so on the 6th label you would need to go to a external source
so if someone buys 7 large items from you, you can print 5 labels on ebay the rest from elsewhere and then you can enter/add the tracking number to the order as desired, no limit to tracking numbers that I am aware of.
