Hello, people!
I want to warn you - do not sell expencive and valuable things on eBay.
Every time you sell it means that you can never see them again in case of return.
Sell something with thought that like you lost it.
Because on eBay no seller protection at all.
Before I had a lot of situations when buyer lies to save funds on return shipping.
Earlier I had many problem with ebay support. They never do enything to help.
And ALWAYS close case in buyers favor.
Untill this day I never had that buyer can return item that was not sold by me. Different completely.
It looks same but a little wear marks are different - the main difference is a sticker with serial number on it.
Buyer swears but does not want to provide any photo that he still has mine item or not mine in his laundry machine. After all it looks 99% like he simply changed it and sent broken one to me for my expence.
eBay's automatic messaging system pushing me to refund.
Reps are different with different level of knowlegies.
One of them asked me to send pictures which must to show the difference. I thought here it is! Maybe seller protection started to work! I was totally wrong.... I did it like a good student withing a few minutes. And next day I received a message we are rewieved your pics and recommend you to refund your buyer! How you reviewed them?!!! You can or not see the difference? It looks like they cant read at all or nobody did not even toched them!
They see all our correspondence they cant or afraid to ask any proofs from crooky buer. Telling me if the buyer will agree that he sent wrong item back we will do something. Ha! He will agree! Right aweay! Now! : ) Crooks are know about this ebay's "seller protection" and do wharever they want.
After multiple times of "seller support" one lady told me that "we dont cover faulty returns"
She said "I recommend you do refund"
What a .....?!!! This is like a mafia! They covers not faulty returns but fraudulent crooks!
Many time I asked her to send a message to buyer because buyer refused to contact with me and said that he will send a picture only if eBay ask. And she finally agreed to ask the buyer but told me that this message will no have any power! .... This is ...ng PROTECTION!!!
And what do you think? Did he? NO, NEVER! Because he experienced.
Finally I did refund.......... becuse it was a dead line. I did my best but I lost.
This is my story.
And what interesting, usually same or next day eBay asking me how helpful was your call to eBay but in this case no... And still nothing after days. I dont know how and to whoom I can say all that.
Only I want to warn you again.
BTW is anywhere a database of such buyers? I can share mine if you want, from my personal panopticon. Maybe if it not esist we should do it?
PPSS this only what I can leave to eBay in the "report buyer" details
eBay supports crooks and thefts. Nasty buyers are know about it.
There no seller protection at all!!! eBay does not even try to
solve the issue. Only what eBay may do that pushing the seller to
refund and frightening - the case will be escalated and so on!
We're committed to making eBay a fair and safe place to sell. -
THIS IS NOT A TRUTH!
Be well - that is what you can do perfectly and ask all fees,
certainly for your "criminals protection".
No reply from eBay.................................................

I guess you don't self insure to cover false SNADS?

Am sorry for your troubles, but ebay/paypal also protect fraudenent sellers like those who say they are US Sellers and list item location in US city and state, or Canadian seller in Canadian city and province, so I buy the item thinking 'yeah I will get my item in just a couple of days/weeks!' But then item ships with a China tracking number and it never gets here.
Paypal gives me refund but then says, "due to unique circumstances of your claim Paypal will give you your money back but not charge the seller", AND they do not remove seller's fraudulent listing to protect other buyers!
Both sellers and buyers are getting no justice...

Believe it or not, it is usually quite easy to detect sellers declaring they are shipping from one place but instead shipping out from China.
First place to check is their feedback page, it will tell you where they are registered.
On the same page look closely at feedback received, and the star telling you how previous customers judged delivery times.
Then go to estimated delivery dates, if more than just a few days and you don't want to wait just click the back button.
I have an average of almost 1,200 purchases a year on ebay, and of those no more than maybe 4 or 5 will come from China.
None arrived as a surprise with a Chinese shipping label which was not expected.

Apart from the ills that come with old age & some rowdy guests/patrons I do not have any "troubles".
See the reply from the very wise poster from Belgium & check on the other thread you started & the old threads you have revived.

"I *always* check feedback,"
Are you quite sure about that?
The last two sellers you left negs for both had terrible feedback...see your other thread.
