Cannot get shipping quote of item

Hello:

 Not sure were to post this problem.      When I want to see what shipping to my location is, and I click on

Shipping & payments tab, I enter my country and Post Code, to see what teh shipping will be BUT

it returns me back to the main page I was on..   This has happend a few times, so I now send teh seller asking how much, fro 1 or 5 items, ect,

Anyone habve same problem and any ideas why this happens?

Shipping has not been programmed & calculated, for your location so it requires you to actually contact seller for a shipping quote.

Sometimes there is a shipping price for 1 item, but if I wanted say 2 or more I enter 2 and click on Get Rates and it does the same thing by sending me back to main page, never did that in past.

Yes, this has been happening to me as well.

When it goes back to the main listing page, click on the Shipping and Payments tab again and it will show the info.

I am having same problem. I tried tried clicking the tab on the main again. Still no luck

I beg to differ that that is a solution. At least in respect to multiple items.

Let's say the buyer (as they said) is trying to find out how much 5 of the same or 5 like items is from the shipping tab - Then change quantity to 5 and change there zip, country etc.

Then they hit get rates......

It pops to the description and then when you return to the shipping tab again , the quantity has re-set to one again

That is not giving an accurate shipping quote - that is making many assume that 5 will ship for the same price as 1

I am not saying what each seller's shipping methods/prices are. I am just answering the OP's question, which he said worked for him. If you have a question, please post separately, because the OP accepted my answer as HIS solution, NOT YOURS, and said that my answer worked for him.

I have no solution , so we're not argueing about who had the solution. ( Maybe you are - I am not) 

I am telling you that what you assumed was an answer to the question is incorrect 

This is a glitch.

It does not work to get an accurate quote for multiple items 

The counter will always change back to one item.

All I am saying is my answer was for the OP's post and he said my reply was his solution.

My answer may not have been an answer to YOUR question, whatever that was, but then again, I was not answering you.

If you have an issue, you should start your own post instead of piggybacking onto someone else's post who is already satisfied and accepted my answer as HIS solution.

The OP and I are not here for you to try to negate our questions and answers.

True , it did not work like that in the past. And the solution offered does NOT and will NOT take care of the problem YOU stated here : "if I wanted say 2 or more I enter 2 and click on Get Rates...."  the ONE you are I are both describing. ( AND even more of a problem for users like yourself,outside the U.S. because of much higher shipping fees etc)

As another independent user noted on THIS topic and how THEY would respond to accusations of that user  "The OP and I are not here for you to try to negate our questions and answers." .......

...............As for that user I'd probably get suspended again. "I am just so happy for you that getting tagged as the solution make your world complete and happy. And it is the answer.... if you want a shipping quote for 1 item. My reply simply stated that if you want to order MORE than 1 item it doesn't solve the problem. And the OP (YOU) stated 1 - 5 items, so in the real world your solution is only 20% correct."........................

As I have privately messaged that user  and have tried to reassure them that I am not trying to steal their thunder green check mark. 

My only concern is that YOUR concerns and YOUR question be properly answered.

And that someone in the technical team would respond and fix the issue because IT does in many more ways affect buyers/sellers alike.
