Cant sign into Ebay using Chrome

I have been an Ebay user for years used Chrome for years last few weeks whenever I try to log into my account i get this message 

Validating JavaScript engine

eBay requires that all visitors be running JavaScript. This page is validating your browser's JavaScript engine and functionality.

Your web browser will automatically reload shortly and you will receive a pop-up asking you to confirm your form submission again. Confirming the form submission again will allow you to continue to visit eBay without further incident.

If the page doesn't automatically attempt to reload, please do so manually.

Nothing happens, even after manually reloading

Using Windows 10 latest Upgrade installed, Google chrome. I can access  my account using IE 11, or with an android device

Why can't I use Chrome ?

Search history and cookies have been deleted ...Problem remains

Just FYI, I'm using a Windows 10 machine with a Chrome browser, and I haven't experienced the problem you've described. I mention that only as an indication that the problem would not appear to be universal.

Go to:

Settings > Advanced > Site Settings > Javascript

And make sure it says "Allowed."

I got that on Firefox, but when I clicked on the manual, it just went back to a search page.......and I had no problems, nor any further sign in windows.

Try closing the browser and restarting

Same for me - and java script is allowed (that's obvious).

Ah - ebay.com works. ebay.de not.

I also have Chrome as my browser, and I haven't yet been having that problem. Hopefully I won't.

I wonder if using an older, alternate sign in page might help in this case?
