community forums sign in issues

Using Mircosoft Edge and been having issues signing in for a few days now. When I click on Join community or log in it just goes around in circles. I just posted a reply, if showed I needed to be sighed in, then it just signed me in? Most of the time I stay signed in no issues, but now seems that I am getting sign out more often. Next time this happens I will log into Firefox and see if same thing happens.  I just cleared all my history a few days ago, that should not be the issue.

 I am having similar problems. Every time I come to the community home page now,  I have to sign out of ebay in the upper left corner,  then re-sign in on the community page, in order to get signed in on the boards.

Every time I leave and come back  even if it's been only a minute or 2. I'm using firefox.

It's not you and it's not the browser, it's the site.  I suspect it has something to do with the way they implemented this laughable slider "security masure".

If you are using Firefox, try disabling "Enhanced Tracking Protection" on the site using the shield icon to the left of the page address in the browser address bar.

That seemed to help when I was having problems signing in to the UK community pages recently.

I just signed in with no problem just now using Microsoft Edge. Will see how long that last till have to mess around again to sign in. Kinda hard to see replies to questions and post if can't sign in!

Well that was a bust!! Got it again on ME. Signed into Firefox and was able to log in.

Just started happening for me but the above suggestion worked thanks.

I'm using Chrome btw.

Except now when I click preview I see a blank page-I hit reply anyways and it posted. 

I do see this 'This widget could not be displayed.' but I see that everytime I post anyways.

That was reported awhile ago during a weekly chat but apparently still an ongoing issue.

It is working now. I am staying signed in. Guess it was a gremlin in the system. Thanks everyone.

I encountered it today for the first time. Using Safari on a MacBook.

I had similar problems about 3 or 4 weeks ago and now the same nonsense is happening again! What is going on? Any time now when I reboot or reload the forum page I always leave open, I have to try and get back in again because it takes me back to The Community page and another endless loop.

And its not fixed yet, Im glad others are getting in, but their solutions arent working for me. This is really getting OLD, people. The clicking on one of the "helpful" icons worked once but its hard to do that when you cant get past the Community page!
