boards still misbehaving

I'm seeing double titles in each post instead of "in reply to"

And the 'extras' menu is tempermental.  (bold, italic, underline, photos, etc)  Sometimes it's there.  Sometimes it's not.  When it's not there, my post was stripped of paragraphs/returns.

I was just about to post that the date/time are missing from all posts except the first one.

This could be a thread from 2013...how do you know if you are replying to a zombie thread if there aren't any dates?

Snoop- the only way is to look before you click. You don't know when the last post was written from the inside but you can still see the date the thread was created/last updated from the forum view, and the first post also shows the date.

Thanks, copper! I also found that if you reply to a post, it shows when it was posted as well.

I actually like that better! The grey is not nearly as harsh on the eyes. We would still need outlines for the posts but oh how I wish we could implement that grey background for text on all the forums.

 Nope, sheba, this ain't no group and I am seeing what I have always seen ~ light gray borders with off white background for the actual text box.  I wonder if it depends on what browser

you are using...I am on Chrome ~ haven't tried Firefox yet, and I don't have Edge and wouldn't touch

IE with a 10 foor pole.

cooper, I agree, the all gray is much easier on the eyes so now that we know that it "can" be done, maybe we should start lobbying for it

I'm not giving up on the HTML tab, either.

Poor Alan had no idea what a pain I would be when he extended an open invitation to the community saying post your suggestions on this board!
