I had two Geek Squad sessions as I thought I needed a tune up.  Then I was told by others of their issues.  It has been going on for at least three days.


I noticed it is hanging up at something called AddThis. I deleted the AddThis cookies and the pages load quickly until the AddThis cookies pile up again and then it slows down. When pages get slow I usually look down there in the bar to see what might be slowing it down and it looks like AddThis might be the suspect.

What’s up with the boards?

Why would you have geek squad sessions? Do you have a problem with other sites?
It’s lithium. There isn’t a problem with anyone’s device.

Everyone has options. Just be sure the best option is right for you.

Under my virus protection, I also have tech support~it's already paid for as part of the protection and is included~and they recommend a tune up every three months or so.  I don't really frequent many other sites, and knew I was overdue for a tune up, so I just figured that was the issue. In any case, in my situation, it wouldn't hurt.  Then I found out that others were having issues, too.  So I knew it was not me, but Lithium.  

 

No harm done, no extra expense,  as I needed to have the tune up anyway.

Just wanted to say that eBay.ca Canada forums are also noticeably slow today sometimes when opening topics. Not as bad as these USA forums I just logged into. So the issue may be common to all lithium eBay community sites?

 

I noticed the issue on eBay.com USA forums last night when reading here. But only today when I logged in an hour ago on the eBay.ca Canada forums.

 

PS Using the latest FireFox browser (64 bit) in Windows 10 (64 bit).

What’s up with the boards?

The issue seems to be tied to session authentication, when it hangs, it appears that it's taking mutliple attempts for the browser to get the community server to accept the session information.

Also no in house inconvenience as they connect to your computer remotely to work on it.

Yes, I believe something like, cannot connect to site.

What’s up with the boards?

- Pages not loading. Sometimes have to refresh 5x to get the page to load

- The site can't be reached / the connection has been reset error shows in Chrome

- System logging me off when I click to read a post or post a reply

- Red error messages when trying to kudo or post

- Read posts showing as bold/unread even when logged in

I am having a Few Problems as well , Board  not loading, When it does load Clicking on links taking forever to load , I also notice when shopping Some pages are loading without shipping, Some says free shipping when I chick on  it it has a shipping price( not china). So slow <I am running Firefox on My desk top if this helps.

10:20 PM EST and it took forever to get here.   I'm not even going to try to go back to the Selling board.
