What's up with the Notification Feed?

  I am not signed up for any notification from the Community Board, yet I am getting the bell notifications that someone has responded to a thread I haven't even read.

I don't mind reponding to threads I have replied on, IT is the threads I HAVE NOT replied to I don't want to be notified of.

Anyway to stop the unwanted random member responded to a random thread notices?

I'm getting the same thing... every time I log on I have around 20 notifications about things that I'm not interested in.  I've tried to "subscribe" and then "unsubscribe" to the unwanted threads, but it hasn't changed anything.

Last night Lithium pushed an update to fix an issue with notifications.

Before last night, if you 'subscribed' to a board, you should have received a notification for each new post on that board - that wasn't working - users weren't receiving notifications. 

Can you check/confirm that you're not subscribed to boards? If you are subscribed on the board level you're likely to receive a lot of notifications.

The Forced update changed all my preferences to immediately, have changed to never, will see if that takes care of the problem.   Thanks,

  I'm guessing this will take at least 24 hrs. or more to take affect, just recieved another unwanted member replied to thread notification.

I noticed I was subscribed to the Selling board, something I did a while ago, I received a ton of notifications this morning, I unsubscribed and now its back to normal.
