Has anyone noticed they we are receiving notifications of kudos via the bell, but the threads have disappeared and are no longer available for us to reference?? Just asking?

Noticed also. I'm assuming these are threads deleted by mods for one reason or another.

No, they seem to be current.
That's just the latest wonkiness I've noticed this week. Some threads are also going berserk adding duplicate "Re: " labels to the front of the Subject line on replies, and their attempts to clean up that glitch may (currently) be resulting in the Subject lines getting lost altogether.
I wouldn't sweat this one; I think it will get sorted out soon.

Ah. Interesting. The few I've noticed, when I attempt to pull up the thread, I get a red highlighted message saying I'm not worthy of seeing the thread, and to go away, or I'll be taunted a second time...
Or something like that. Lol

Sort of like last year when they took our identities and our avatars away. Not understanding the purpose of this. How are people supposed to follow up, especially those who have questions that may be answered or solved on down the road?

Oh I remember that dreadful absent avatars biz, there was no Katz, koalas or Kewpies for weeks!!

I doubt if there's a purpose. I'd guess they're messing with something else and caused this glitch as an unintended consequence. If I click on the "Re:" it takes me to the thread and the post, by the way.

Must be nice to have an avatar. I chose one but it turned out to violate the Geneva Convention. I mean, all it was was my DMV photo... How bad could it be?

yes

Maxine... I noticed it briefly, but I think what they are talking about is, and I noticed once.... That I got a helpful... But no " re" and nothing to click on.

Right; that's the current glitch. Here's what I see as of two minutes ago:
Notification feed with missing links
I suspect (though it will take a bit of digging to verify) that the missing titles are the ones that had excess "Re: " prefixes on the Subject lines. It's probably an unintended consequence of someone trying to troubleshoot the prefix bug without having someplace offline to test his coding fix.

@a_c_green is correct. They're trying to fix the Re: Re: Re: glitch. See the two threads on the "Share Community Feedback" board.

Yup! Now I'm seeing it. The good news is that the glitch doesn't affect me much, I'm not much help, so not much of a need to relive my follies. 😁
