This is a rant, I'm sorry

kyle@ebay  devon@ebay

Every time we have a holiday/or special closing of USPS, someone posts on the selling board.....and, unless it is "hidden" in such a way that the mods don't find it.......the message is moved to shipping board.  It's obvious from the answers that some appreciate/need the post........I forgot/thanks I was getting ready to go to the PO......so it is obvious that not all sellers read the shipping board religiously.......

I respect the mods are doing their jobs and the subject concerns shipping, but it's a disservice to sellers who need/want information concerning selling on the selling board.........

I have tried in times past to appeal the movement, via message using "inappropriate content".......to no avail......so just burn everytime it happens........ am just sharing that this time.

I know your rant is not directed at me, but perhaps my below observation will help a little?

Typically I see the mods leave a couple posts on the Selling forum while they move most to Shipping.

For example: https://community.ebay.com/t5/Selling/USPS-Closed-Thurs-Jan-9-for-Pres-Carters-Funeral/m-p/34870640

Go ahead and give that one a bump if you want it to have more prominent visibility as a reminder on Selling.

Hope that helps. 🙂

Good idea, except I, dumb me, assumes that all will be moved if one is......and how does one know which will be moved.........  just tired of fighting it........along with with other things on this board..

OK I bumped it for you since you're too tired. You caught me in a giving mood.

Glad for YOUR mood........  to me it doesn't really solve the problem...........but I bow to your solution which may/may not work the next time.

Such a simple thing.......
