Seeing issues with the new Community platform?

Thank you for helping us catch those bugs! While we did work hard to make sure we caught any issues before we released the new changes to the Community, there might be some issues that we didn’t catch. If you find any issues, please post them only here. The Community team will be actively monitoring this post and we’ll work as fast as we can to get them resolved. No need to @ mention us, if you post here.

Be sure to include links to the pages, screenshots, which browser you’re using and other relevant information you can share.

Yep.

@buyselljack2016   I got my headache from it early today so took a good long break.  Now I find I only get on for a few minutes at a time, there are quite a few changes that just don't let it "flow" like it did before ... obviously USERS are not doing any programming ... here's my next issue.  I asked a while ago to have the country of each OP shown ... but instead of giving us really valuable info (to save us from having to click the OP's ID to make sure they aren't from Sri Lanka) they have things junked up like the stickers and decals on a NASCAR race car ... (pic below) it is WAY TOO BUSY, too many text sizes ..

Looks like eBay needs to fix their major glitch on the selling platform before they can address this mess.

Auction items that have bids end up in the "unsold" section with no way to invoice the buyer.  I believe buyers are saying that the item disappears on their end too so they are unaware that they "won" the auction.

I do not know if there is any issues with BIN...it seems to be an auction glitch.

@hurryagain   I think i read one thread about that Auction issue ... are their more?  I prefer Auctions and don't want to see sales go sideways because of an eGlitch ...

There are TONS of sellers (and some buyers) screaming about this on the boards right now.  I had one auction end today that had a bid on it and it did indeed go into my unsold listings with the bid on it.  When I clicked onto the listing, I was unable to invoice the buyer either.

I dropped my buyer an email letting him know of the glitch and that hopefully eBay would have this solved by tomorrow...

...tomorrow...I might be asking for too much...🙄

There are a couple of issues going on.

The GTC relist and the auction going to unsold, etc...

Of course the boards issue as well.

As far as I know eBay is well aware of all of them. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. 🤞

Dear eBay Community Team: 

I'm not a person who likes to complain much. But ... after a couple days of checking out the new Community Platform ... Three things I would LOVE to see different (am on an Android phone, btw): 

1) The most recent answers/comments posted back to the beginning of individual board's lists would be a wonderful thing. Much easier to follow along on a thread that way then how it's currently set up. 

2) The Notifications - once you click on one, the others all go the same (no more bar on the left of them), as if they were all read. You can't go back and forth easily anymore to go thru and see the ones you are interested in reading that you haven't yet. Is a hassle. 

3) So much scrolling ... Appreciate the "top" blue circle arrow on the bottom right of the screen to go back to the top of the page (instead of up-scrolling), but there isn't one to take you to the bottom of the page. Would help. 

Thanks to posters who have given advice/solutions here and there about how to navigate the new set up, it's been a bit better getting used to. As for the incredible whiteness of the screen, I could honestly use it as a flashlight at night, it is truly that bright! 😊

With that happening on so many accounts I wonder if eBay is making some goofy decision on the future of Auction listings ...

If nothing else is fixed but the abilty for the threads to be moved up as they are posted to, I will be happy. As it used to stand, we were able to have conversations in real time. Sometimes people replied to threads for several days and posters, who perhaps weren't there on the day the topic was started, could jump in and add their two cents on the subject. Without the threads being bumped up fewer people will be able to see those threads or even know they exist....and most likely multiple threads on the same subjects will be created. I'm already seeing that happen now, I'm also seeing posters creating multiple nonsense threads that nobody is interested in and bumping all the pertinent threads off the first page. It just doesn't work. Please, if nothing else, fix that.

It is not just "auctions" experiencing issues.  Read many posts that they are going to "unsold".

My GTC listings are just disappearing completely. Gone, gone, gone.  Not renewing, not going to unsold.

I caught on in time to save some to drafts, but now many listings (the ones that I can remember that I had) will need to be recreated from scratch.

Likely to find some items on the shelves months from now, and wondering why they aren't sold, or listed.
