Question about search on forums

At one time, I could search only my own posts for content, but I can't seem to do that now.

As an example, I'd do this when someone asked about an object or an artist on the Collectibles & Art board and I knew that once before I'd given considerable info on the subject, with appropriate citations to verify.  Instead of repeating all the work, I'd search my own posts with a keyword or two, and then copy and paste any appropriate bits to the new query.

I can no longer find a way to do this;  that is, to search just my own posts.  Has this function been removed, or am I failing to see how to do it?

Thanks for any help or ideas.

A bit late to the party, but this may or may not help . . .

After entering all the search criteria mentioned above (keyword/s, author, etc.) go to the "Advanced" option at the upper right-hand side of the page and select "Specific posts" instead of "Topics." That should identify all the specific, individual posts in which you've entered that keyword.

Let me know if that helps you find the specific posts in which you've entered your keyword or whether I've totally misinterpreted your quest--which would not shock me.  😉

Just clarifying the above snippets, which, for some reason, wouldn't appear in the edit box function.

This is a shot of what the "Advanced" option looks like on the main search page.

And this is what the drop-down menu looks like after clicking on "Advanced." It defaults to "Topics," and you'll want to change it to "Specific posts."

Yes, that is another trick. Thanks for taking the time to show its use.   Alas, it still leaves one engaged in a rococo work-around for something that used to be a handy feature.
