Why is the notification bell still red after you click it, without new notifications. Something has changed with it. Intentionally?

Not a big deal, but irritating a bit. Thanks

Is doug@ebay no longer the go-to-guy for tech issues with this board? I haven't seen him for a while. tyler@ebay- tagging Tyler since Alan is away- just in case Doug isn't here anymore.

Posting only for comparison's sake, but my notification bell seems to be working as expected.

I'm on a Windows 10 OS, using a Chrome browser on the desktop platform with Adblocker Plus. 

@eburtonlab -- any ideas?

He hasn't posted for a month, he hasn't been credited on the podcast as Associate Executive Segment Producer in as long- and he's been removed from the About page. So I jumped to the conclusion that he might not be on the community team anymore.

I noticed he was gone from the about me page. I didn't realize about the podcast. I guess it wasn't a post, just online that I saw. hmm

By the way, I'm not a stalker! I noticed the podcast because I listen to it regularly even though I'm a week behind right now.

I noticed the about page because I linked to it earlier for an OP asking questions. That prompted me to realize I haven't seen him on this forum in a while so I went looking for his profile to see when he last posted. I was going to tag someone to look at this notification bell issue and didn't want it to be a wasted effort.

The notification bell seems to be working for me in Firefox on a Windows 10 machine. At least when I click on the red bell I see the new notifications, and the bell returns to black for me, as it has in the past.

I knew a couple of them were/is on vacation for awhile, but couldn’t remember who was still here. BTW Stalker 😂 it shows he’s online now.

Things stick out in my mind and when other things happen I connect the dots. More detective than stalker, I suppose. 🔎

Is this sticky notification bell thing still happening for you? It's still happening for me. You have to click to a couple of different pages before the red alert goes away.
