Can I turn off the notification feed for groups I have joined that I don't frequent as often? My feed has every thread posted and I just don't need it. Can I be a group member (which is sometimes mandatory to post there) without getting all those notifications in my feed? I see ways to turn off emails, but not the feed. I'm sure I could be missing something. Thank you.
Good question. Yes, you can unsubscribe. When you're in the Group, click the Options link on the right side. On the Options menu, you should see 'Unsubscribe' when you click that you should no longer receive notifications for new posts in that group.

Thanks for your reply. When I tried your suggestion, the choice was to subscribe even though I am already (automatically it seems) subscribed. So I tried clicking on subscribe and then going back and changing it to unsubscribe, but it didn't work.
Another issue is that you can't hover over your notifications and see the top few at least. It forwards to an entire page that takes awhile to load and then you have to go back if there's nothing there you want to click on, which takes up a lot of time.
Nothing has changed. Categories I'm already getting notifications for only show the option to subscribe. Conversely, I do not get notifications when someone replies on threads I start.
Did that several times before I even posted here. The point is, I can't unsubscribe. Is there an option to turn off all notifications on the bell at the top, not just emails?
