How to reply to a posting.

Ebay is dropping the ball BIG TIME. No sent messages and now no way to reply to other community comments. How does the world keep getting smarter but ebay keeps going backwards.... Where do I find the reply on a posting and where do I find my sent messages/offers. App and website dont show.

Hi @krekre11 . Your questions about the app were answered here:

https://community.ebay.com/t5/Mobile-Apps/Where-is-the-sent-messages-tab/m-p/34961747#M52193

To find your previous posts, go to the top right of this community page, click your avatar then 'view profile'.

If you are unable to reply to a community post then you are probably looking at the "ask a mentor" forum which is locked to replies from everybody except mentors.

It was a previous post about the same issue of not being able to see sent messages. in community, app section. I obviously can reply to yours but not the pre existing threat on missing sent messages. There are a LOT of people saying the same thing I am.

Some times, threads get locked here and moved to a more appropriate board if the subject is wider that just "Selling".

Other times, threads that have gone silent for a time are sometimes locked. If that is the case, simply start a new thread.

Can you post a link to the thread?

The thread may have been locked if it was old.

In any event, it's always better to start a new thread with your specific questions, which you did, and I've provided a lot of info so we can continue the discussion over there if you need more help.

You can not reply to SOME threads for various reasons.

Is there a particular one that you cant reply to?

Would you care to share it with us?

OK, I wasn't sure what you were asking.

At any rate, Khoros runs this board, not eBay - Khoros is just a bolt-on chat board with its own moderators and setup. They lock threads they deem too old, or move a thread to another more appropriate board, but will state when they do so and provide a link; also posts and threads they don't like (violation of community standards) get removed. Sounds like your threads may have been locked - this is done because too much time has passed since replies, or the OP requests it.
