GRRRR!
Seems like every other time I use a link in a message I get an HTML error! In the past these were "fixed" with the warning at the bottom of the entry box. Now that doesn't happen and I get another kind of an error - there is a problem, post flooding or something else. This is NUMEROUS times a day.
Is there a fix on my end? A glitch in eBay? Do I need to document each and event?

html errors are common when pasting formatted text from other messages or help pages since the last major update several months ago, though there have been some improvements recently.
Using the html button to view the html version of the post, I am able to remove a lot of the non-text header information that seems to cause that original html error.
See this thread for some details:
In general, if the preview loads without generating an error, I am able to post directly from the preview screen. If not, I use the html button to remove some of the html code at the top of the quoted portion until I can load the preview and post.
Previously when I got a flooding error, I generally needed to open the thread in a new page, post a new placeholder response, then edit the post to paste in the original message. Lately I have been adding some extra newlines to the post and re-posting, and that seems to satisfy the flooding screener.

Thanks @eburtonlab I'll take a look and give those things a try!
