In addition to the free double spacing on the boards, ebay has also extended this free service to when you send someone a private message. Thank you ebay! 😃

Oh yay. It looks so weird.

Well, instead of hitting "enter" twice as you used to to create the double spacing just hit "enter" once.
Problem solved.
and single spacing is still available as shown here.

Although that work around may work.
It should not be necessary if the coding was correct.

Well now we run the risk of falling into that old Monty Python routine “I came here for an argument”.
In fact it is formatted correctly according to the Associated Press Stylebook.
Notice the text I have bracketed. Hitting the enter key is the equivalent of creating a new paragraph. AP style calls got the first line of a paragraph to be double spaced from the last line of the previous paragraph. Even if the previous “paragraph” is only a single line.
But the stylebook also says that you should not hit enter at the end of each line but rather let the text wrap naturally.
So the program is set up to assume that hitting the enter key is meant to create a new paragraph which, by style rules, must be double spaced.
Now I realize that you and others may not agree with this but that does not negate the validity of the AP stylebook rules. Somebody has to keep things orderly.

@eunster1313 My bell has been weird for several days as well. Oscillates between 10 and 4, even if I click on it to reset to 0.

The same with me. Resetting makes no difference it keeps doing it.

Mine too. It will show 1 and then if you refresh I get 10. 🤔

The ebay spiel(that we wish we saw) -
You asked us to streamline the posting process(right?) Maybe we heard wrong, but we are making posting more confusing and convoluted than ever, and we are expanding this service to more posters. "We heard you, and now we’re delivering. And we’re just getting started."

I don't type paragraphs in many places online anymore... but the new 'Tab to prefill' is pretty cool. Is that an eBay thing? 🤔

I logged in and my bell was 4. I came to this thread (latest notification), went to the top of the page, and now it is a 10.

Never mind. I just found that I can 'Tab to prefill' on another site. So, is that a 'my new laptop' thing? 🤣
