I finally sat down to work on this and since I am a computer moron had to get my daughter on the phone to video chat with me to take me through all the steps of getting photos from my phone to the site. It seemed to go through only I got a follow up email saying it was all no good. I'm on hold with CS. The girl eventually said it's a site issue, to "try later". Problem is I probably don't remember crucial steps at this point. I'm pretty well stressed out. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I wish you could come over here and help me. "front.jpg" is the name of the file that shows up on my desktop. I don't know if that means it's a thumbnail. The quality of the picture looks fine to me, can make out everything including my homely picture. It would be nice if the email I got said the picture quality is bad or I didn't actually load the photo or SOMETHING for me to get a grip on.

Right-click the file on your desktop to see the file size (and the image dimensions if it has them). That will tell us the general quality of the image. Are you on Windows or Mac?

It's Window. 115 KB. Too small? How would I make it bigger?

That sounds a bit small, but if the card fills the image and is straight on, it might be legible.
And it still may be an eBay glitch that will clear itself.
You can't make an existing image bigger.
Are you using iPhone or something else?
Was that photo taken with your phone or a camera? Was it on a solid background? Did you crop it?
How do you take your listing photos? Perhaps we should start from that known process.
[ I tried to simulate a high-resolution black & white at 640x480 (the very smallest camera setting) and was able to create an image with that file size. So that means your image is either dimensionally small, or was highly compressed. Either will shrink the file size. We need to start with something larger or better quality. ]

From memory, cuz I haven't done it for a long time, yes you should see your pic in the box, when you upload. 115kb is on the small side, but if you can see the image clearly when you look it, I would think it should work.
The screen you get for uploading should tell you what the minimum requirements are, if any. Or there may be an Info button (an I in a circle) for you to click on, to get more info.
Like I said before, you may need to have them call you to tell you what's wrong.

I had this same issue attempting to "verify stakeholder(s)" by uploading my driver's license. I had excellent ~1.8 Mb photos of my license, taken in my lightbox with a high rez camera. I uploaded several times and kept getting the "We weren't able to verify all the updates you made" email.
eBay for Business on Facebook can't help you...I tried that. You have to get on eBay, message (or call--I used messaging) the help people, who will then get the payments people involved. I spent quite a long time waiting for the payments people to pop up, and the OCONUS eBay help agent reassured me that they were working on it. I thanked the agent, as polite people do, and then the agent typed something like, "Great! So glad that I was able to assist you today!" and then disconnected the chat session. I had to make my USPS run and didn't have time to start that nonsense over again, so I left.
Later that afternoon, I got a survey request and honestly filled it out, as everything was working fine up until the agent took my "Thanks!" as "My issue has been resolved." I had until Monday the 23rd to get this taken care of or my daily payouts would be held. I had *assumed* that they had resolved the issue, because I've been getting my payouts the last couple of days, but looking for the exact verbiage in the emails led me to discover that the last email said, "Please update your stakeholder information by Feb 05, 2023 to release your held payouts and avoid further restrictions."
So now I'm not sure if I'm good to go or not. Guess I'll go try to upload again...which I have tried from laptop, desktop, and mobile phone, on several different browsers. I have no issues uploading item photos, so I'm not understanding why this needs to be so complicated.

You both mention "stakeholder" which I see only on my corporate (business) accounts, and not on my personal accounts. Are you both operating under a business name? If so, perhaps we need to look at this differently.

I am operating as an LLC, yes. The "stakeholder" verbiage is part of the KYC regulations. It appears that eBay has "fixed" my issue, as I just tried to update my driver's license photos and got a pop-up that said that I would be informed if I had any further requirements. Fingers crossed to see how that works out.

I operate as a business but friends who are also businesses on ebay don't know w hat I'm talking about needing to upload photos of my license. Guess some of us are just special.
I dont' have time to deal with calling them again until maybe tonight. Last time I was not able to get past the girl who took the call.
