I OPENED A BASIC STORE, but they won’t let me put up more than 200 lots.

When I was selling for a while in the past you did have a limit to start with. I was on my old eBay seller account in few years ago no longer have it because they decided to close it I didn't like the new managed payments difficult to use or figure out for me. Hope you have better luck than I do.

Re: store

Complete nonsense?

New sellers have selling  limits.

Subscribing to a store doesn't change that.

You think new sellers can open a store and sell unlimited items?

Perhaps you should have read up on ebay polices before selling and opening up a store.

Re: store

You are a new seller with selling limits.  It isn't "nonsense".  It is there to protect you as well as buyers while you gain some experience.  Just because you have a store doesn't mean you can post more listings that your Selling Limit supports.

If you opened the Basic store as a month to month payment, then you can cancel it without penalty.  But if you opened it and subscribed to it for the next 12 months you can't close it without a big penalty right now.

When a seller desires to increase their selling limits, they are allowed to request an increase once every 30 days. Mark your calendar and every 30 days request an increase until you have your selling limit well above anything you think you will ever need. Below is a link to where you can go to ask for a selling limit increase. It is the third option in the link below.

Re: store

You are a new seller -- about two months.  Opening a store does not eliminate the limits that eBay places on ALL new sellers.  In other words, you are paying for something that you cannot, at this point, utilize to the fullest.

Re: store

Well, it looks like you can still list about 80 more items, so.....what's the problem?

Re: store

Hi  Svetlana,

Aside from all that, I would think your listing titles should have the word 'stamp' or 'stamps' in it/them.  Just saying.

Good luck.
