so what does selecting "US Only" when searching for a item supposed to do?

I thought when you selected item location US only that meant the item was located in the US but I was just searching and am finding "US $2.99 eBay SpeedPAK Standard. International shipment of items may be subject to customs processing and additional charges.

Located in: ShenZhen, China"

I wonder if promoted listings gives you a pass on this

And what about "additional charges"?  never heard of that on ebay

Do they also have USA in the location?

Sometimes they'll put ShenZhen, China, USA or USA, ShenZhen, China in the location so it'll show up when you select US only.

actually they have US in the title but china as the item location, I would think that the item location would be what they go by.

Sadly, some foreign Sellers game the system.

Seller Location is NOT the same as Item Location.  On the listing Ebay requires that seller put the location the item will ship from.  Many sellers from other countries have inventory stored here in the USA that they ship from.
