MP is a payment managing system: only a refund would be done through it.

You can not send money through MP. It goes to the bank on file.

You can sent the buyer some money by going to the sold item, and using the drop down window to select "refund'. Choose an amount. Send it.

Can any of the moderators here tell me why I am not allowed to create a new discussion? I have nearly 500 feedback, yet when I try to create a new discussion on this community page, it says access denied. (Sorry to post on this discussion, but I can't create my own.)

I have had that. Seems there is a duplicate list of board choices. From one list it works (upper I think), from the lower the "denied" shows up. (could be the other way around, but that was my experience)

Just a guess......

Your login to the community may have expired and you need to log out/ log in again.

Here in the community your login can expire really fast, some things you can still do but others such as creating a new topic may require a fresh log in.

Not sure if it helps but in your site preferences there is a setting to "log me in automatically to the community", while it doesn't actually keep you logged in it will automatically log you in when required.

OR

It's just another glitch in the often defective community / discussions boards which are operated by Khorus for eBay.

Try logging out of your eBay account AND logging out of the forum also and then try to come back into the forum by logging in.

You're trying to post in an archived (old, closed, shelved) area. New threads/posts cannot be created in archived areas. You need to get out into the active boards/threads.

Look at your own screenshot again. See where it says:

eBay Community > Archive Community > Archive Q&A Boards > Archive Buying & Selling Basics Q&A

You can't. Managed Payments is a e-commerce payment processor, not a peer-to-peer payment processor.

Not sure what you mean by "send money" to someone???

If you are trying to give customer "partial refund" you go to ORDERS, ALL ORDERS (find item) click down arrow and select SEND REFUND.

Hi, unfortunately this is not the case. That only pops up when it says access denied. Even after I try and create a brand new post. I have attached a screen recording.

...never mind, ebay won't let me attach an .mp4 screen recording. (even one that is 3.4MB)

eBay will literally block anything that shows any flaws in the system. Horrible horrible seller support. And zero contact from community mods.

No, they literally do not. There are thousands of eBay-bashing threads and posts all over these discussion boards. In fact, that's probably descriptive of the majority of threads.
