That depends to a large extent on whether there are people worldwide who want whatever items you are selling.

The short answer is yes but the long answer is a recommendation for new Sellers to spend months selling domestically and gaining experience before moving to international sales.  New accounts have to process a certain amount of business before they can sell internationally so again, just focus on domestic selling as you start out.

     In addition to the guidance others have provided for the most part the answer is yes. However, there are some unique aspects to selling worldwide. The first deals with what you are selling and knowing the import/export laws of the individual countries. The last thing you want to have happen is for items to be seized by customs. 

     Secondly be aware that some countries have major issues with corruption in their customs officials and theft of imported merchandise. Be aware of the risks associated with shipping in some countries many do not have tracking  capability and some of the foreign postal services also have problems with theft. 

     If you venture into the worldwide marketplace do some research on potential issues/problems you may face and potentially tailor your international selling to a marketplace that poses minimal risk.

What are you selling?  Much depends upon whether there is a worldwide demand for the items being sold and if you can reasonably meet that demand.

Yes you can. First create your selling base within few countries and then you can spread it to many other countries.

     Great starting point and it gives you the big picture. The issues I have had with international sales are the things the eBay information fails to tell you. 😁

There are some special rules for shipping into the European Union and Germany has special rules and requirements that would make it very difficult to ship to.

     What is really ironic is the way eBay looks at freight forwarders you are actually already selling internationally. FF's are viewed as domestic sales, other than hitting you with the international fee, because hey you never know the buyer may own the company or be working there. 

     Kind of creates a conflict between a couple of eBay policies for example while according to the eBay, selling international policy, sell in certain categories such as Video Games,  Hunting knives, Auto parts, etc. a buyer can override these if they are using a FF. 

     It can, and has caused me some problems with a couple of international sales where the buyer was using a FF.

The answer is Yes. I'm also a newly registered seller. But I got some advice from more experienced sellers in my country. There advice was "Start Small, and gather  your  experience in selling and after that expand your business." Most importantly learn about ebay selling policies and rules. They will help you along the journey. Always be patient and respectful towards your customers when or if they contact you.
