My ebay sales have completely stopped for over 2 weeks. Am I being blacklisted by ebay even though i have done nothing wrong. Did their algorythms freexe me out. This has hppened before.

There is a somewhat lengthy thread on this from a couple of days ago. It might provide you some insight. I don’t think it is eBay, or any algorithm..My personal feelings are it is related to the chaos and uncertainty in our country. Again..that is my opinion. My sales are down 45% from the exact same period a year ago.

You (like me) sell vintage collectible items, and I think the issue right now is people are indeed a little wigged out about money, and tightening their belts at least temporarily, to see what happens. Hopefully we’ll get a nice windfall with tax refunds!

Why would Ebay blacklist your sales...so they could make less money on you? Thats never made sense to me. Idk but I dont think people are into collectibles like they used to be. Their kids complain that they dont want their junk, and dont want to deal with all that stuff when the time comes. I know my kids do.

Hello there! Sorry to hear that...same thing happening to me, my sales went down 90% for this season but I think it really has to do something with the chaos in the country...weather, fires, and insecurity about economy. Hopefully get better soon. Try new tools or promotions! good luck!

Hi,  I really dont' think that you are being "blacklisted."  For whatever reason - every seller skids on a bad patch of road from time to time.  Try not to stress over it.  Hang in there & just keep doin' what your doin'.  Things will get better.  Good Luck!   (J.B. From N.J.)

I agree there’s no reason to think anyone’s store was suddenly blacklisted, but blaming it on the sellers category when it’s as huge as collectibles isn’t so helpful. And by huge, I don’t mean popular, I mean broad. If you look at the OP’s listings, they are a pretty wide variety. And even if they were narrow, decreased desirability doesn’t happen overnight.

I'm down about 41%, Times are bad & will probably get worse, people are very uncertain about the economy moving forward, so they stop spending on something that is not actually needed, That being said i also wonder about the algorythms as well.

I see a lot of the collectible sellers complaining about their poor sales on the boards. They are right up there with the clothing sellers. Just hugely oversaturated categories, with a steady decrease in desirability.
