sales

I have store with over 850 good items.. One item has sold in over 90 days. I have been a member for over 17 years. I depend on this income. I receive SS period. I have had open heart surgery and a few others. I am not looking for a hand out just for items to sell so I can acquire groceries and pay bills. I am always getting fee subtractions,I need help.

@stainlessenginecovers

Disagree.

Maybe not your thing, and not selling as fast as OP would like for possibly a variety of reasons, but they're really nice items.

Re: sales

You are sitting on half a million worth of inventory.  If you really need money for groceries, just lower some of your prices. Lower all of your prices. Fire sale – get $250,000 out of it. You’ll be set with groceries for life.

Re: sales

Your prices are not reflective of the current market.  You have a Myott & Son Pitcher for $475 when the most expensive M&S pitcher sold on ebay in the last 3 years only fetched $96, and that one had the basin.  The next highest sale was 39.99.  I dont like seeing the price of our merch go down, but any buyer can hit the completed listings button and see that the asking price isnt in the ballpark of rational.

My sales are way down btw, I can for sure see that items just dont go for what they used to.  Definitely miss the good ol days.  But, it is what it is.  We can still find stuff out there that we know we can get for way less than what its worth, then turn around and put it up here on ebay for a profit.  Just gotta find that balance of sellability & roi.

@inhawaii

Come on, I don't think OP's post deserves that derision, especially if you've taken a look at his beautiful listings.

@1kul57  I agree with others that a local auction house might be a great and fastest solution for you.  If you're near DC there are probably several.

Re: sales

It is so the international shipping can be worked out before someone pays. I have FrEEb shipping and international sometimes think that pertaines to them.

They wouldn't be 'sitting unsold' if they were 'good'.

Well that is really and unfair and untrue statement.  It happens to sellers ALL THE TIME.  Good sellers and Good products.

What?  I don't know too many sellers that can do that kind of sale.  How often do you run a half off sale?

You need to look at how you set up a listing then.  You can state US shipping, which most of us do, but you do not have to state International shipping charges unless you want to, or you can just state it for certain countries.  If you don't state any International shipping charges on the listing, then the buyer HAS to wait for an invoice as they can't pay until they know the shipping charges.

I would encourage  you to use the EIS program for the listings that you can for as it is an excellent program for sellers.

EIS is a great program. I encourage you to read about it and decide for yourself if it will work for you. It takes almost all the risk for international shipping off the sellers.

@mam98031  There is MORE to a 'Good' product than just the "sellers opinion" that it is a 'good' item.

A truly GOOD item is also

a.) wanted

b.) priced to sell

Public opinion by simply NOT buying the items is proof they are NOT good, in most eyes.

@adamcartwright  thought you should see this too.

What you explain is true, however how you worded your first response was limited and curt.
