As a seller i believe the reason for no sales is not our fault it is not because of the algorithm as i have done everything necessary to eliminate the reasons ebay will give me for slow sales , I believe the sales are down because we as sellers are not able to lower our prices due to ebay keeps raising their prices on us sellers and our only way to combat that is to sell our items at a decent enough price to try and come out of this either on top by a few dollars or breaking even at best . i have spent to much time listing items for the past 12 years to end in a losing battle with this company i believe i need to find another platform to sell my items on as ebay might soon be a thing of the past .

Do you even watch the evening news or read a daily newspaper? Do you realize that all eBayers live in that stress torn world and what happens out there has more of an effect on their actions than anything that eBay does.
War, crime in the streets, disease, inflation, shortages of life's necessities, corruption, a thoroughly Peed off Mother Nature, loss of parental autonomy, political incompetence, well the list just goes on. And you want to blame eBay fees?
Oh, look - Horsemen. A bunch of them.

You can crosspost items😊

If you can find a better (cheaper with as much exposure as ebay) platform, more power to you.
Good luck to you.

I hear you and agree.

I feel your pain my friend. Its very tough out there.
Your sales are down due to customers shopping at another market place, physical stores or with another seller. Ebay is not the only place people buy things. Or customers are only buying the bare essentials. Also the rising cost of living, stagnent wages and other macro and micro economic factors impact sales. Basically the bad economy.
I run a restaurant in my real life and I have less customers coming in to dine due to these reasons

My restaurant is facing the same issues
i believe the reason for (no sales) Fewer Diners is not our (my) fault it is not because of the (algorithm) economy as i have done everything necessary to eliminate the reasons ebay (my business association and my wife) will give me for slow sales , I believe the sales are down because we as sellers (Restauranteurs) are not able to lower our prices due to ebay (My Landlord, My Food Suppliers, My Utility Provider, my insurance company) keeps raising their prices on us sellers (Restauranteurs) and our only way to combat that is to sell our items (my dishes) at a decent enough price to try and come out of this either on top by a few dollars or breaking even at best. . i have spent to much time listing items (running my business) for the past 12 (20) years to end in a losing battle with this company (My Landlord, My Food Suppliers, My Utility Provider, my insurance company) i believe i need to find another platform (method) to sell my items (food) on as ebay (renting a physical location in a high trafficked area and hiring staff to serve and cook food ) might soon be a thing of the past

Without a doubt some sellers find the investment of time & effort to no longer be worth the dollar return .
For some sellers ebay remains as an opportunity to divest themselves of items they no longer wish to own.
Wishing you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

I feel your pain, your sentiments are echoed on other sites. Most of the casual buyers are spending on other necessities which have increased and they are left with little to 0 left for eBay purchases. Every day I see negative growth compared to previous days, months and years. I am grateful for the few sales, but it is getting tough. You have to ask yourself, what do you estimate sales outlook in 6 months, a year? I see it as another decline, the writing is on the wall.
Cross posting is good, just have a system to delist from other sites when an item sells.

I've started advertising my Ebay store offsite to drive eyes to my collectibles.
Anytime you find an edge a transnational corporation will come along and steal it.

Not ebays fault but states are requiring the buyer to pay state sales tax. This can be as much as 10% of the purchase price. Thats what has turned sales down. Sales started dropping just as ebay started collectioning sales tax on nonmortar stores.

Don't quite understand "Sales have Stopped"........You've sold 175 in last 90 days...........39 in March.....with 516 listings as of today.........

I looked at your listings and I can see why one item is not selling. The Animaniacs toys for $18.99 are not identified properly. These toys are from a McDonald's 1994 Happy Meal and are not ornaments. This should be in the "Toys & Hobbies/Fast Food" category. Your McDonald's Jungle Book toys should also be in this category.

"i believe i need to find another platform to sell my items on as ebay might soon be a thing of the past ."
You'll need to be teleported into another place and time where the economy and world circumstances are more positive.

Yeah and 10 years ago a 1oz FCM package was only $1.75 the same package now is almost $4. It's gotten to the point that my minimum sale is $6.00 and on that after fees, shipping, cost, etc. I'm lucky to break even. A sale on an item I sell for $25 and have to ship using Priority mail I end up netting maybe $10-13 depending on the total fees. That ratio is pretty bad. But that's the cost of doing business online in 2023. Sad truth is if it keeps going in another 10 years you won't be able to make any money on something you sell for $10 on here. That's scary and sad.

i have done everything necessary to eliminate the reasons ebay will give me for slow sales
That's the root of the issue. eBay can't give you a reason for your slow sales because eBay cannot read the minds of the buyers who do not want to buy your items.
All eBay can do is make guesses based on broad generalizations, because they are not going to resources and employees to analyze your business. That's your job.
