What is the best vehicle to make a refund to buyer for a refund for his troubles. I have already issued a complete refund on the product & shipping.

Send the buyer a coupon for a future purchase?
Check the pulldown on the order and see if refund is available.
Ask for the buyers PayPal address.

It sounds like you have already refunded the buyer's total payment.
If so, giving him even more money is not a 'refund'.
It is a 'gift'.
eBay has no system for just transferring money to someone else.
If they did, it would probably be used for money laundering.

You can't refund more than the original transaction here. I suppose a vehicle would be PayPal. Good luck.

Why would you want to give a buyer more money than there entitled to. You refunded the purchase i am sure you were sincere in your apology for the hassle that should be enough. We all make mistakes you have done what you needed to do. You do not want to fall into a guilt trip when a transaction does not workout. I say move on learn from this one. Wish you well and good fortune.

What type of REAL 'troubles' could a 'Buyer that buys stuff on a website' actually have??
None.
Therefore, no vehicle as buyer is NOT, I repeat, NOT NOT NOT entitled to ANYTHING above and beyond the full purchase price.
If the buyer gave you a 'story' about their 'troubles'...it's just that. A PLOY to get you to give them EVEN MORE!!

My guess was this has to do with the extra $125 a buyer was charged by the USPS for shipping (other post by OP)?
If that's the case, I would try for the PayPal route/ask for the buyer's PayPal email.

I agree but, in cases where you truly do as you should as a seller Ebay is not the best in supporting you. I have had firsthand experience on this. Thanks for your input
