Hello,

I have received a phone call from a lady

she said I am selected to participate in the "eBay Managed Seller Program"

she will be my account manger

Then I have received a email from her with a link to a page ( which seems ebay )

I am not sure if I can post the link here??

Does this program exist?

Help would be appreciated??

i just want to give a quick update

my problem/concern has been solved

I am in email contact with my account manager, I still try to find out what she can do for me

So, yes it is possible that someone from ebay/ associated with ebay can call you, and offer you

to participate in a program

Did you speak to customer service? Most sellers are their own account managers. If you spoke to customer service most likely they gave incorrect & false info. They also read from scripts and outsourced from the US in other countries. Devon@eBay did you ever find out if this is a legit email and feature? Thanks in advance. Don't do anything just yet, Ralf...hang in there with us.

CBT stands for "Cross Border Trade", and this is a program that eBay has started. At first it was set up for sellers in South East Asia, but since you are in Argentina, they must be expanding the program to other sellers outside the main sites of North America and Europe.

@ckimodog, and @ckimodog , as devon@ebay said here, this is a legitimate eBay program, but for global sellers, not those based in North America.

If you google "CBT Seller Dashboard" (as shown in your screenshot), most of the eBay help pages (which are legitimate eBay pages) are from eBay sites based in South East Asia (or SEA) so some of the URL links include the letters SEA. For example: www.ebaySEAsandbox.com. I looked up the ownership of that website, and it is an eBay website.
