Hello,
I have received a phone call from a lady
she said I am selected to participate in the "eBay Managed Seller Program"
she will be my account manger
Then I have received a email from her with a link to a page ( which seems ebay )
I am not sure if I can post the link here??
Does this program exist?
Help would be appreciated??
Cheers, R

If it was ebay, why wouldn't they send this to your messages inside ebay?
I was unaware that ebay is calling sellers. I have seen posts for programs but they seem to come in the message form inside of ebay.
I wouldn't touch this link, but that is just me.
Someone with more experience can enlighten me as well.

devon@eBay, does this program exist?
Were you notified on eBay as well? If not I would steer clear of this email. Lots of scammers out there who can do harm to your account and bank account. Please be safe. Ignore this message.

Hello, thank you for your prompt message, received a email from a
xxxx@ebay.com address, and some info and a link
to a dashboard, see below, someone is in this program??

I don't see any Google results for that program, so that strikes me as odd. The fact that they called you is odd. The email coming from xxx@ebay.com isn't sure proof, as that can be spoofed. Are you familiar with how to check email headers to confirm the sending email address is accurate? It's not possible in all email providers but usually is.

Also, is that your screenshot of the dashboard, or did you grab that from elsewhere? The link showing in the bottom corner is legit, but I'd still be wary at this point.

That appears to be something we don't have in the US, I think I see you're in Argentina? Is there a Latin America version of these forums you could check in, since they might be more familiar with that program?

eBay does call sellers. When I dumped the new international shipping, they called me twice to discuss it in an attempt to get me to use the program.

Hey @ckimodog! I know that this is a program that exists and I would like to double check to make sure that this is legitimate for @ralf-eric. Can I have OP send me the email address and detailed information shared to our email askcommunity@ebay.com?

yes thats right I am in Argentina, I am not aware of a specific country forum
I try to find out more about this program and post my findings here
Found out CBT=Cross Border Trade this program exists in Southeastasia,
However, I need to find out more

Open the email, then click File -> Properties. Look for the From and any other server info to make sure it came from ebay.com and not somewhere else. Feel free to post sections of those here or just send them to devon per their message and you should be able to confirm you're getting a legit message!
