Did you mean:

"Uploaded on time but no carrier scan" - I used first class mail

Issues is:

I used first class mail and used those "tracking numbers" for the tracking number that ebay asks for.

I guess it is automatic and me entering numbers in manually "Confused the Shipping Algorithm"?

Here's a breakdown of transactions in which tracking wasn't uploaded on time or didn't receive a carrier scan.

"Tracking uploaded on time and validated"
Not uploaded at all:   2     -    1.08%
Uploaded on time but no carrier scan: 37       -    19.89%
Total :    58    -    31.18%

This was around Christmas holidays and some package were lost by usps. I even had them look but somethings just disappeared. I refunded or sent new items to all customers tho.

anyone experience this?

Thanks

Re: "Uploaded on time but no carrier scan" - I used first class mail

Sorry, I need a little more clarity.  Are you purchasing your shipping labels from someplace other than on Ebay?  If so do you then come back and enter the tracking number into the Ebay program right away?

Or are  you purchasing your shipping labels on Ebay?  I know you said you are shipping First Class, but do you actually mean Ground Advantage?

In the sections on your Seller Dashboard that you are seeing these numbers, there is a little down arrow on the right.  Click on that.  This will open up more information to you, to include a report you can print that will contain all the transactions that are part of those numbers.

Then you need to go and check each one of them to see what the tracking says on USPS.  Sometimes they do get it wrong and that would be what you'd be looking for, transactions you can get removed from these stats.

However keep in mind you are really late to this party.  If these have been there since December, even if you find some of them to be incorrect, you may not be able to get them removed because they are so old.

Providing tracking to eBay is only the first part.

You need a scan from the carrier before your handling time expires.

Re: "Uploaded on time but no carrier scan" - I used first class mail

I purchased from eBay and also a 3rd party for shipping labels.

I mean "First Class Mail". I would upload the (pseudo) number ebay and 3rd party would give to me for the first class mail label.

It looks like they might have been recorded in ebay system as "USPS Ground "when they  are first class.

I was still new and I put my items way to low so my store blew up too quick so i was hustling all the time before I learned to price better.

I guess I just need to ask ebay? See what they can do?

Thanks mam98031 !!!

Sorry but the way you describe the situation is confusing because First Class Mail for packages does not exist anymore. Did you uses ESE or mail something First Class letter/Envelope?

@dukehalestorm

First class mail does not include tracking.

Do you mean the eBay Standard Envelope (ESE) instead?

If you mean the ESE, the ESE numbers are entered automatically by eBay; but the ESE must also received a "scan" from the USPS Distribution Centers.

If you tried to override the ESE number, that may have then resulted in your ESE not being recognized, resulting in your ESEs not being validated.

Is that what you mean?

What you have said above is extremely confusing.

"I mean "First Class Mail".  USPS changed this last year, it is now called Ground Advantage.  You are not shipping FC anymore for what you sell.  It is Ground Advantage.

"I would upload the (pseudo) number ebay and 3rd party would give to me for the first class mail label."  What?  Ebay doesn't issue fake / pseudo numbers when you create your shipping labels on Ebay.  They are real tracking numbers and you do NOT need to upload them as they auto upload when you create the label on Ebay.  And if you are creating your labels on Ebay, WHY would you have any 3rd party labels?  Are you buying two labels?  What is it that you are really trying to describe.

"It looks like they might have been recorded in ebay system as "USPS Ground "when they  are first class."  No, that is the new classification that USPS started called Ground Advantage.  Do you keep up with changes in USPS services and their rates?  If you don't, you really should as they are important to your success as a seller.

Before you go asking Ebay something, you really should try to come up with an explanation of what it is you are trying to do or figure out.  You will get no where with Ebay customer service if what you describe doesn't make any sense to us here.  I'm NOT picking on you, I'm trying to help you.  Your word choices are important and you have things a bit mixed up, so it is hard to follow what is really happening.
